Big 10 k Race in Super Stock...

Rumor has it that Atco is having a 10 k race for Super Stock this Wednesday. Entry fee is $200.00 and I think they have to have over 130 cars for the Ten Thousand dollar Purse. Both IHRA and NHRA members are invited.

Did you know some tracks are saying NO Pets?If your track does this let everyone know.

We just heard a good one...One of our racing friends said they were told they would have to leave xxx track, because of their dog....Now every track we've been to has allowed dogs, ( pets )but we are just wondering if this is a new trend that some tracks are going to enforce. After pointing out that several racers had dogs at that track and that he would go as soon as everyone else was sent away with their pets...they said he was fine. But who knows what will happen at the next track..and if you have driven 6-10 hours to get to a track how likely is it that you would be able to do something about having your pet with you?
We don't bring our dogs, but we enjoy being with everyone else's dog...We do agree if your dog leaves a Poop you need to clean it up...but that's the only thing I think needs to be enforced. Of course dogs that want to eat people shouldn't be brought to a track, either.

Which Tracks have the best Amenities

Amenities--don't you love them, Restaurants, Snack Bars, Stores, but our truly favorite amenity is a track with showers...So far we think the only track with tons of showers and bathrooms is Bristol Dragway...MIR Maryland International is building a new bathroom and snack bar, but I still don't think they have showers...We just find the motor home shower...lol too short and cold...So for now Bristol is the best for our team on Amenities.
We would love to learn about other tracks around the USA and Canada...
